Zusammenfassung

Azstar Technologies is seeking a technically strong IT professional stepping into a leadership role as Technical Support Lead for Queensland. You will provide advanced Level 2 support, lead IT support across our Queensland offices, and be the key link between the business and IT, with some travel between sites.

You will drive adoption of AI agents and automation to improve IT workflows and user experience, manage SLAs, tickets and asset/license metrics, and mentor a small team while coordinating

Qualifikationen

• Degree in IT or Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Experience in global or multinational enterprise IT environments.
• Exposure to leadership (mentoring, acting team lead or coordinating support across sites).
• Strong technical knowledge across hardware, software, networking and cloud.
• Confident influencing stakeholders with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.

Aufgaben

• Leading Brisbane IT support (one direct report), delivering hands-on Level 2 hardware and software support across laptops, desktops, printers, mobile devices, Windows 11, Microsoft 365 and business/engineering applications.
• Owning meeting room and AV/video conferencing technology (Teams Rooms, displays, mics) across all four offices, including project and design review spaces.
• Managing device lifecycle — imaging, deployment, patching, break/fix and hardware refresh — plus onboarding and offboarding for project-based and permanent staff.
• Acting as the go-to voice on technology for business and project leads, and the primary local point of contact for the global IT organisation.
• Owning ticket management, documentation and escalation in line with ITIL, and reporting on SLAs, ticket trends and asset/license compliance.
• Managing software asset and license compliance, and leading communication and training for technology changes and rollouts.
• Championing diversity, inclusion and HSE practices across the team.
