Job summary

Questas Group is seeking an IT Support Engineer to join our regional support team, based in Perth or Brisbane. You will resolve Level 2 incidents, support staff onsite at branches, and help keep devices and local infrastructure secure and running smoothly.

You’ll work closely with the IT team as a business partner for the branches, visiting sites regularly and gathering feedback to improve service levels. A strong customer service mindset and multi-site travel are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in IT support (Level 2/desktop).
• Strong Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365 administration experience.
• Experience deploying and managing devices via Intune/MDM.
• Solid networking basics (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, Wi‑Fi, VPN).
• Familiar with Jira Service Management for ticketing and SLAs.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently across multiple sites.
• A current driver’s licence and vehicle for travel between sites.

Responsibilities

• Resolve escalated Level 2 incidents and service requests in Jira Service Management.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network and connectivity issues on-site and remotely.
• Build, deploy and maintain Windows laptops/desktops/mobile devices using Intune and Autopilot; monitor with NinjaOne.
• Administer Microsoft 365 accounts, licences, Teams and SharePoint access, and Entra ID/AD identities.
• Complete onboarding and offboarding for new starters, movers and leavers.
• Provide first-line onsite support for branch networks (UniFi, FortiGate, SD-WAN).
• Respond to endpoint security alerts and promote IT security policies.
• Visit each branch on an agreed schedule and log visit reports.
• Write knowledge articles in Confluence and suggest fixes to reduce repeat issues.
• Coach staff on using Microsoft 365 and AI tools.
