Job summary

CBRE Asia Pacific is seeking a part-time Facilities Management professional to oversee operational performance across client sites in Australia. You will manage IFM delivery, coordinate external vendors, and monitor invoices with a focus on cost control and financial reporting.

The role requires a 2/3 day workweek, flexible hours, and strong stakeholder communication. Melbourne or Sydney based with cross-time-zone coordination as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or a related field with 4-5 years of relevant experience in Facilities Management, IFM, or similar roles.
• Demonstrated experience in vendor management, financial oversight, and invoice processing.
• Strong budget management, forecasting, and cost control knowledge.
• Excellent organisational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
• High attention to detail, financial acumen, and ability to work independently in a part-time role.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations across all sites in Australia, ensuring consistent IFM service delivery, quality, compliance, and efficiency.
• Manage and coordinate external vendors to ensure timely, high-quality service delivery, including performance monitoring and continuous improvement.
• Review and process invoices accurately, ensuring compliance with financial policies while tracking and managing operational expenses.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost control; monitor spend and identify cost optimisation opportunities; provide regular financial insights.
• Serve as the primary regional contact, collaborating with internal teams and providing updates on performance, risks, and opportunities.
• This is a part time role 2/3 days a week with flexible working hours with periodic coordination across time zones if/when needed.
