Job summary

CBRE Asia Pacific is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to lead a team responsible for overseeing building operations and maintenance across a portfolio of facilities in Australia. The role focuses on operational excellence, safety compliance, and delivering value to clients within a corporate environment.

The successful candidate will manage capital projects, budgets, and stakeholder relationships while driving continuous improvements and applying CBRE RISE values across the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; combination of experience and education considered in lieu of degree.
• Facility Management certification preferred.
• Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention preferred.
• Advanced organizational skills and strong numerical ability including financial calculations.

Responsibilities

• Provide formal supervision to employees; monitor training and development; conduct performance evaluations and coaching.
• Schedule and manage team activities; establish work schedules and deadlines; mentor and coach as needed.
• Coordinate and manage facility repairs and maintenance with technicians, vendors and contractors.
• Maintain positive client relationships and conduct meetings on unresolved facility issues.
• Prepare and manage capital projects, operating budgets and variance reports.
• Perform facility inspections and suggest operational efficiencies, repairs and upgrades.
