Our Client, a well-established Australian manufacturer of innovative building systems for commercial and high-density developments, is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to lead Sydney's project market.

You will drive growth across the region by engaging decision-makers in commercial and residential construction, reading structural drawings, and delivering tailored solutions from concept to on-site delivery while building long-term relationships with builders, developers and

Qualifications

• A strong understanding of the local construction market.
• 3+ years' business development or account management experience in construction materials, structural systems or a related building trade product
• A proven record of managing long sales cycles and closing high-value deals
• Able to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings, and keen to learn evolving product configurations
• Current unrestricted Australian driver's licence, with the ability to travel across the region
• Self-motivated, with excellent negotiation, presentation and time-management skills

Responsibilities

• Deliver a targeted sales strategy to grow market share across multi-residential, commercial and residential projects
• Engage early with architects and engineers to get your product specified, then convert through to head contractors and installers
• Develop tailored solutions that meet project-specific technical and structural requirements
• Build long-term relationships with builders, developers, engineers and key sub-contractors
• Manage projects from initial concept through to on-site delivery, ensuring strong client outcomes and repeat business
• Deliver confident, executive-level presentations
