Job summary

Build Launch is expanding its Sales & Business Development team in Sydney Metro, NSW. We seek a results-driven Business Development Representative (BDR) with strong construction industry connections to grow our presence and convert opportunities into long-term partnerships.

You will build relationships with builders, developers, and contractors, manage a field-heavy pipeline, and work from home or on the road with the support of an established team.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in residential or commercial construction, ideally as a licenced builder or in a related senior role.
• Experience in construction sales, negotiations, or business development.
• Strong industry connections across Sydney and surrounding areas.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Proactive, results-driven mindset and ability to work independently.
• Experience managing sales pipelines and achieving targets.
• Current Australian driver's licence.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with builders, developers, contractors, and other construction professionals.
• Identify new business opportunities across Sydney Metro and surrounding regions.
• Meet potential clients, conduct discovery meetings, and convert opportunities into new business.
• Attend construction networking events and develop industry partnerships.
• Manage your sales pipeline and client relationships through our CRM.
• Coordinate client requirements, talent interviews, and contract arrangements with internal teams.
• Work closely with Sales and Client Account Management to ensure a smooth client handover.
• Maintain consistent prospecting activity and a healthy sales pipeline.
