Job summary

Bedrock Recruitment is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to lead growth across Gold Coast and southern Brisbane suburbs. You will engage decision-makers in commercial and residential construction, drive market share, and manage projects from concept to on-site delivery.

You will build strong relationships with architects, engineers, builders and sub-contractors, tailoring solutions to project requirements and delivering executive-level presentations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' business development or account management experience in construction materials, structural systems or a related building trade product.
• A proven record of managing long sales cycles and closing high-value deals.
• Able to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings, and keen to learn evolving product configurations.
• Current unrestricted Australian driver's licence, with the ability to travel across the region.
• Self-motivated, with excellent negotiation, presentation and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a targeted sales strategy to grow market share across multi-residential, commercial and residential projects.
• Engage early with architects and engineers to get your product specified, then convert through to head contractors and installers.
• Develop tailored solutions that meet project-specific technical and structural requirements.
• Build long-term relationships with builders, developers, engineers and key sub-contractors.
• Manage projects from initial concept through to on-site delivery, ensuring strong client outcomes and repeat business.
• Deliver confident, executive-level presentations.
