You will be the first point of contact for our customers, helping ensure the front office runs smoothly while supporting our mechanics and management team with day-to-day administrative tasks.

We are specifically looking for someone who already has an understanding of the automotive environment and can confidently communicate with customers, suppliers and workshop staff. Applicants without previous automotive industry experience will not be considered.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Reception & Phone Management: Answering incoming calls, directing enquiries and assisting customers with professionalism and confidence.
Customer Service: Greeting customers, handling general enquiries and providing a positive customer experience from their initial contact through to vehicle collection.
Parts Ordering: Liaising with automotive suppliers, sourcing and ordering parts, and following up on outstanding orders.
Parts Checking: Checking delivered parts against orders, verifying correct part numbers and vehicle applications, and identifying incorrect or missing items.
Email Management: Monitoring the workshop inbox, responding to customer and supplier emails, and ensuring enquiries are followed up promptly.
Workshop Administration: Assisting with general administrative duties and supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the workshop.
Social Media & Content: Potentially assisting with social media posts, capturing workshop activity and helping showcase interesting vehicles, repairs and projects.
The successful applicant will ideally have:
Previous employment experience in an automotive workshop, dealership, parts department, automotive reception role or another relevant position within the automotive industry.
A genuine interest in cars, automotive technology and the mechanical industry.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
Confidence using computers, email and basic office software.
The ability to communicate professionally with customers, mechanics and parts suppliers.
A proactive attitude, attention to detail and willingness to learn.
The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team.
You do not necessarily need to be a qualified mechanic. However, previous hands-on or professional experience within the automotive industry is a non-negotiable requirement. We want someone who understands the environment and genuinely enjoys being part of it.
A part-time position with an opportunity to become a valued member of our team.
A friendly, automotive-focused working environment.
The opportunity to work around a variety of vehicles and mechanical projects.
A varied role combining customer service, administration and automotive parts coordination.
The opportunity to develop your knowledge and skills within the automotive industry.
