Job summary

Lake Imaging in Geelong seeks a Booking Agent to be the first point of contact for patients in a lively inbound call centre. You will manage appointment enquiries and bookings, notify patients of pre-visit requirements, and liaise with staff across sites in a values-driven medical imaging team.

Ideal candidates have health/medical reception experience or RIS/PACS familiarity, and a proactive approach to training and development. Permanent full-time, with Monday–Friday hours, are offered.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication, empathetic listener with strong phone skills.
• Previous customer service or high-volume call centre experience.
• Confident using computers and quick to learn new systems.
• Proactive attitude to training and development.
• Health/medical reception experience is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Take inbound calls and determine the required service.
• Handle bookings and enquiries efficiently.
• Notify patients of pre-visit requirements.
• Liaise with technical and support staff.
• Quote fees and Medicare rebate amounts.
• Book appointments at the relevant site.
• Assist with other tasks as needed.
