Job summary

SunRice is seeking a Quality Assurance Coordinator to protect and enhance quality and food safety across milling, flour, packing and rice cake operations. You will work on the factory floor, build relationships with production teams, investigate non-conformances, and drive continuous improvement with measurable impact.

In this hands-on role you will coordinate corrective actions, support both national and export customers, and partner with operations to ensure compliance with HACCP, SQF and food

Qualifications

• Experience in Quality Assurance within a food manufacturing environment.
• Passionate about food safety, quality and continuous improvement.
• Comfortable working closely with production teams on the factory floor.
• Strong communication skills across operators to senior leaders.
• Team-oriented with collaboration across functions.
• Experience managing customer complaints and corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Support national and export customers by investigating product and quality issues
• Coordinate corrective actions and ensure products meet customer, regulatory and food safety requirements
• Work with operations and cross-functional teams as a quality and food safety advocate
• Foster a culture of excellence across the site
• Investigate issues, identify root causes and implement solutions
• Manage customer complaints, non-conformances and corrective actions
