Job summary

SunRice is seeking a Quality Assurance Coordinator to safeguard and enhance quality and food safety across milling, flour, packing and rice cakes operations. You’ll work hands-on on the factory floor, building strong relationships with production teams and leading investigations to drive improvements.

In this role you’ll support national and export customers by addressing product and quality issues, coordinating corrective actions and ensuring compliance with customer, regulatory and food safety

Qualifications

• Experience in Quality Assurance within a food manufacturing environment.
• Passionate about food safety, quality and continuous improvement.
• Enjoys investigating issues, identifying root causes and implementing solutions.
• Comfortable working closely with production teams and spending time on the factory floor.
• Strong communication skills and can engage with operators through to senior leaders.
• Experience managing customer complaints, non-conformances and corrective actions.
• Exposure to export customer requirements and investigations is highly regarded.
