Job summary

VBP Interiors Pty Ltd in Condell Park, Sydney, seeks a PYTHA / ALPHACAM Drafter to convert architectural plans into detailed 3D models, shop drawings and CNC programs for residential and commercial joinery. Hands-on cabinetmaking experience is essential to ensure accurate fabricate-ready drawings and production data.

You’ll collaborate with project managers and the workshop team to manage drafting deadlines across multiple projects from drafting through to installation.

Qualifications

• Hands-on cabinetmaking experience is essential.
• Experience using PYTHA for cabinetry or joinery drafting.
• Experience using ALPHACAM for CNC programming.
• Strong understanding of joinery construction, materials and hardware.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings.
• Experience managing offshore drafting teams preferred.
• Cabinetmaking trade qualification highly regarded.

VBP Interiors is looking for an experienced PYTHA / ALPHACAM Drafter to prepare detailed drawings and CNC programs for residential and commercial cabinetry and joinery projects. Hands-on cabinetmaking experience is essential.

Based in Condell Park, you’ll work closely with our project managers and workshop team to take projects from architectural plans and design concepts through to manufacture and installation.

You’ll bring:

• Hands-on cabinetmaking experience — essential.

• Experience using PYTHA for cabinetry or joinery drafting.

• Experience using ALPHACAM for CNC programming.

• A strong understanding of joinery construction, materials and hardware.

• The ability to read and interpret architectural drawings.

• A practical approach to problem-solving.

• Clear communication skills and the ability to work independently and within a team.

Experience managing offshore drafting teams is preferred, including allocating work, reviewing drawings and coordinating deadlines.

A cabinetmaking trade qualification would be highly regarded.
