Job summary

Ryde Joinery in New South Wales is seeking an experienced Setout - Pytha Operator to join our drafting and joinery team. You will produce shop and production drawings and collaborate with office, factory and site staff to achieve outcomes.

You may attend site for measuring, safety and reporting. The role requires 5+ years using Pytha CAD or equivalent, with knowledge of commercial joinery and a meticulous, team-oriented approach.

Setout - Pytha Operator - Custom Joinery

Ryde Joinery is seeking an experienced Pytha Operator to join our drafting and setout team.

Operating for over 40 years, we specialise in high profile commercial projects including pub/club, office, hotels, shop and high-end residential work fit outs. We work with well-known builders and architects to produce award-winning results (as recognised by the Australian Shop and Office Fitting Industry Association (ASOFIA)).

We work in a close-knit team and pride ourselves in producing high quality joinery work. We always look for opportunities for employees to develop, grow and be promoted within the business.

This role requires an understanding of the design and joinery construction process.

The successful applicant will be self-motivated, and demonstrate excellent attention to detail and be a positive team player.

The role:

You will be responsible for producing shop and production drawings.

Working collaboratively with office, factory and site staff to achieve outcomes.

Opportunities also available to attend Site - measuring, safety and reporting.

Skills and Experience:

• 5+ years experience using Pytha CAD Software (or experience with other software programs and willingness to be trained in Pytha);
• Knowledge in the commercial joinery and fit-out industry (trade qualification in joinery desirable);
• Strong administration, organisational and problem solving skills; and
• Strong attention to detail.
