HPP Group in Molendinar, Australia, is seeking an Experienced Joinery Draftsperson (Cabinet Making / Joinery) to join our production team and deliver production-ready drawings for manufacture.

The role requires hands-on cabinetmaking knowledge, strong CAD drafting skills with PaletteCAD or Cobus NCAD, and the ability to manage multiple projects with high attention to detail in a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years’ experience in cabinetmaking, shopfitting or joinery.
• Proven drafting experience using PaletteCAD or Cobus NCAD.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings and specs.
• Ability to manage multiple projects autonomously.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook/Excel).

Responsibilities

• Interpret drawings and produce accurate shop drawings.
• Customize designs to client specs and revise designs per feedback.
• Ensure drawings meet standards and project specs.
• Prepare cutting lists and material schedules.
• Quantity materials and raise purchase orders.
• Provide technical support to production teams.

Experienced Joinery Draftsperson (Cabinet Making / Joinery)

Are you an experienced Joinery Draftsperson with strong cabinetmaking knowledge? We’re looking for a detail-oriented professional to join our growing team in Molendinar.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll work closely with our production team to deliver accurate, high-quality joinery drawings ready for manufacture. You’ll play an important role in taking projects from architectural drawings through to production.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years’ experience in cabinetmaking, shopfitting or joinery
• Proven experience in joinery drafting using PaletteCAD, Cobus NCAD or similar software
• Strong understanding of construction drawings and specifications
• High attention to detail and drawing accuracy
• Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple projects
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret architectural drawings and produce accurate shop drawings
• Customise designs to meet client requirements and revise designs based on feedback
• Ensure all drawings meet industry standards and project specifications
• Prepare cutting lists and material schedules aligned with production timelines
• Quantify materials and hardware and raise purchase orders prior to manufacturing
• Provide technical support to production teams throughout the manufacturing process
• Maintain and update project documentation and design files
