Job summary

Fusion People collaborates with an established joinery business to recruit an experienced Pytha Drafter. The role focuses on producing accurate shop drawings and supporting projects from concept through to manufacture and installation.

You will develop joinery designs from architectural plans, prepare fabrication drawings for CNC production, and work with project managers, production and installation teams to ensure buildability and quality results.

Qualifications

• Interpret architectural drawings and specifications to develop joinery designs.
• Attention to detail and accuracy to ensure high-quality shop drawings.
• Experience producing joinery shop drawings for commercial or architectural projects.
• Ability to interpret and apply manufacturing constraints from drawings.
• Proven experience using Pytha software for drafting.
• Right to work in Australia.

We’re currently working with a well-established joinery business that is looking to add an experienced Pytha Drafter to their team.

This is a great opportunity for a technically strong drafter who understands joinery, enjoys producing accurate shop drawings and wants to work on quality architectural projects alongside an experienced team.

The Role You’ll be responsible for producing detailed joinery drawings and supporting projects from concept through to manufacture and installation.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing joinery designs from architectural plans and specifications
• Preparing drawings for manufacture and CNC production
• Working closely with project managers, production and installation teams
• Reviewing drawings for accuracy, buildability and functionality
• Making amendments and resolving technical issues throughout the project lifecycle
