Job summary

Amazon Web Services Australia Pty Ltd in Sydney is seeking an Account Manager for the NSW Public Sector, covering NSW Government agencies. You will develop and manage a sales pipeline, deliver account strategies, and build relationships with key decision makers to drive customer outcomes.

The ideal candidate has proven sales or account management experience in technology platforms, with an entrepreneurial, self-starting attitude and strong collaboration across teams to present compelling cloud

Qualifications

Experience in Sales/Business Development or Account Management roles
5+ years of technology platform sales with an understanding of government IT, data centers, cloud services and cloud adoption experience

Responsibilities

Work to increasing adoption of AWS cloud services in a defined territory
Help create and maintain a robust sales pipeline of opportunities in existing accounts as well as driving net new business
Articulate a compelling value propositions to customers
Work with AWS partners to manage joint selling opportunities
Assist customers in identifying use cases for adoption of cloud services
Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts
