Job summary

Department of Justice and Community Safety VIC – Melbourne VIC is seeking a Service Delivery Manager, Radio, within EM Technology and Data to oversee the state’s radio systems and ensure reliable communications for Public Safety Organisations. You will coordinate with service providers and manage contractual deliverables in a high‑reliability public sector setting.

The role requires hands‑on expertise in radio technologies, CAD integration awareness, and strong incident and change management

Qualifications

Demonstrated extensive technical experience in the operation and technical aspects of radio technologies.
Demonstrated experience working with service providers and radio systems, including review and approval of service providers' technical deliverables.
Awareness of system integration with other mission critical systems such as computer aided dispatch (CAD).
Experience delivering service management operational services, focusing on incident and change management.

Responsibilities

Manage technical and operational aspects for the State's radio systems providing reliable communications for Public Safety Organisations.
Oversee service provider technical performance against SLAs/KPIs and coordinate with contract management teams.
Review and approve contractual technical deliverables.
