Job summary

Mercure Gold Coast Resort on the Gold Coast is seeking a proactive Housekeeper to maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation across the resort, including change rooms, washrooms and guest areas.

You will work with a friendly team across shifts, stay safety conscious, and enjoy a competitive salary, complimentary meals on shift, free on-site parking, and generous staff discounts on accommodation and dining at Accor hotels globally, plus access to online courses for career progression.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or housekeeping is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and a service-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and presentation across the resort.
• Create a clean and welcoming environment in change rooms, locker rooms, washrooms and team areas.
• Work safely with cleaning chemicals and equipment, minimising waste.
• Keep trolleys, storerooms and equipment organised and stocked.
• Complete stocktakes and report maintenance or supply issues promptly.
• Support housekeeping with linen, deliveries, and moving supplies.

Job Description

Join our Housekeeping team and help create a clean, welcoming and well-presented environment for everyone!

• Keep the resort looking its best by maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and presentation.


• Create a clean and welcoming team environment across change rooms, locker rooms, washrooms and team areas.


• Work safely and efficiently by using cleaning chemicals, equipment and supplies correctly and minimising waste.


• Keep trolleys, storerooms and equipment organised, stocked and ready for use.


• Complete stocktakes and report any maintenance, equipment or supply issues promptly.


• Support Housekeeping with linen and delivery runs, rollaway beds, cots and moving supplies.


• Work closely with other departments and assist the wider team when needed.
