Job summary

Mercure Resort on the Gold Coast is hiring for our Housekeeping team to maintain spotless, welcoming spaces across guest rooms and public areas. You’ll help uphold high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and presentation to ensure a great guest experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and a service-focused attitude.
• Reliable, energetic and self-motivated with a strong work ethic.

• Flexible availability across a variety of shifts.
• Good time management, organisation and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and presentation.
• Create a clean and welcoming environment across change rooms, locker rooms, washrooms and team areas.
• Work safely and efficiently by using cleaning chemicals, equipment and supplies correctly and minimising waste.
• Keep trolleys, storerooms and equipment organised, stocked and ready for use.
• Complete stocktakes and report maintenance, equipment or supply issues promptly.
• Support Housekeeping with linen and delivery runs, rollaway beds, cots and moving supplies.
• Work closely with other departments and assist the wider team when needed.
