Job summary

Chubb Insurance in Sydney seeks an experienced underwriter/account manager who will deliver department, branch and corporate goals across profit, growth, service and strong producer and client relationships. You will drive new business, rate and retention outcomes, monitor claims, assess renewals and endorsements, and prepare for account reviews within delegated authority.

Qualifications

• Strong underwriting judgement and analytical skills required.
• Experience with broker relationships and account reviews preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive new business, rate and retention outcomes for the assigned portfolio to support revenue and profit goals.
• Within delegated authority, assess and decide on new business, renewals and endorsements, and provide recommendations on risks outside authority.
• Deliver producer targets and support business development across SBU/product lines and broker segments.
• Build and maintain strong broker and key account relationships through regular communication, visits and collaboration.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the business to identify ideas that support innovation, growth and business improvement.
