Job summary

GEM Switchboards is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee electrical switchboard and manufacturing projects. You will manage end-to-end delivery from order acceptance through to final delivery, coordinating with design, procurement and production to stay on track.

You will lead multiple projects, maintain schedules and budgets, ensure safety and quality compliance, and act as the primary client contact throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Project Manager or Project Coordinator role.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Well-organised with strong attention to detail.
• Comfortable managing multiple projects at once.
• Experience in electrical or engineering environments highly regarded.

GEM Switchboards is a locally owned electrical manufacturing business based in Warner's Bay & West Gosford, specialising in low voltage switchboards for the commercial, industrial and telecommunications sectors. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Project Manager to oversee the delivery of electrical switchboard and manufacturing projects. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being hands-on, organised, and accountable, while working closely with internal teams, suppliers, and clients.

About the Role

As Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing multiple projects concurrently, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to specification. This is a delivery-focused role where you’ll own projects end-to-end — from order acceptance and handover through to final delivery — working closely with design, procurement and production to keep everything on track
