Job summary

GEM Switchboards is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee electrical switchboard and manufacturing projects. You will manage end-to-end delivery from order acceptance through to final delivery, coordinating with design, procurement and production to stay on track.

You will lead multiple projects, maintain schedules and budgets, ensure safety and quality compliance, and act as the primary client contact throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Project Manager or Project Coordinator role.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Well-organised with strong attention to detail.
• Comfortable managing multiple projects at once.
• Experience in electrical or engineering environments highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end project delivery from handover to completion
• Coordinate and liaise with the internal design team to meet project requirements
• Act as the main point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle
• Manage project schedules, budgets, variations, and documentation
• Track design progress and ensure milestones are met
• Identify and manage project risks and issues
• Provide regular project updates and reporting to management
• Ensure compliance with contractual, quality, and WHS requirements
