Job summary

Ampcontrol is seeking a proactive Electrical Project Coordinator to join our growing team. Based in Mackay, this full-time role reports to the Service Delivery Manager within the Project Delivery Team and focuses on coordinating all technical and project activities.

You will drive project execution, planning, scheduling, procurement, and subcontractor management, while maintaining client relations and monitoring costs to deliver high quality outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Project execution, planning and coordination of HV electrical switchgear.
• Review customer project scope and estimating.
• Scheduling.
• Procurement of estimated materials.
• Subcontractor management – paint / heavy manufacturing.
• Monitor and control project costs.
• Liaise with customers/clients and external companies as required.
• Customer updates and reporting.
• Coordinate, attend and chair project kick-off or progress review meetings.
• Understanding of design process.
• Establish and maintain positive client relations to ensure customer satisfaction and continued forward forecast of repeat work.
• Commitment to health and safety and delivering high quality product for the end user.

What you will do:

Due to Ampcontrol’s continued success and growth, we are expanding our team therefore seeking a proactive Electrical Project Coordinator who thrives off being organised and has pronounced planning, scheduling, and estimating skills!

Based in Mackay, this role is a full-time opportunity reporting directly to the Service Delivery Manager playing a key role within our Project Delivery Team.

You will be responsible for coordinating the delivery of all technical and project related activities, specifically:

• Project execution, planning and coordination of HV electrical switchgear
• Review customer project scope and estimating
• Scheduling
• Procurement of estimated materials
