Job summary

GEM is seeking an Electrical Service Technician to work across the Central Coast and Sydney, delivering maintenance and service across critical electrical infrastructure. The role offers a 38-hour week Monday to Thursday, with regular long weekends and Friday overtime opportunities.

You'll perform switchboard maintenance, thermography inspections, PFC maintenance, RCD testing, fault finding and provide client-facing service and reporting.

Qualifications

• NSW Electrical Licence required.
• White Card required.
• Current Driver's Licence required.
• 5+ years' electrical maintenance experience.
• Strong switchboard knowledge.
• Ability to interpret drawings, SLDs and specifications.
• Sound knowledge of current electrical standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform switchboard maintenance (energised and de-energised).
• Conduct thermal imaging inspections and prepare reports.
• Maintain Power Factor Correction (PFC) systems.
• Carry out RCD testing and compliance inspections.
• Diagnose faults and provide reporting and recommendations.
• Deliver client-facing service and maintenance work across sites.

About You

Highly Regarded

• Thermography certification

• LVR/CPR and First Aid
