Job summary

IPD Group is seeking a Product Manager to lead the Emergency Lighting portfolio in Australia. You will own end-to-end product strategy, market development, and the profitability of the portfolio, influencing product direction and customer outcomes.

You will support sales with technical guidance, establish and manage supplier relationships, and engage with customers to identify opportunities and deliver innovative solutions while ensuring quality and compliance across the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Qualification as an Electrical Engineer or Qualified Trade Electrician.
• Experience in a Product Management role is preferred.
• Willingness to travel across diverse markets.

Responsibilities

• Drive market growth by developing deep knowledge of Emergency Lighting and market trends.
• Deliver high-quality service and maintain technical expertise across product lifecycle management.
• Lead product strategy and innovation, including new products and portfolio optimization.
• Build and manage supplier partnerships for supply, pricing, and issue resolution.
• Support sales with tender assistance, technical training, and sales enablement tools.
• Ensure compliance, quality, and continuous improvement across product-related processes.
• Maintain a strong commitment to safety and professionalism in all activities.
