Job summary

IPD Group is seeking a commercially minded Product Manager to own the Final Distribution portfolio (DIN Modular and Smissline). Based in Wetherill Park, you will lead product strategy, lifecycle, pricing and forecasting while collaborating with international suppliers and internal teams.

You will leverage electrical industry experience to develop 3–5 year growth plans, manage supplier relationships, and provide technical guidance and training across stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Electrical Engineering qualification or Trade Qualified Electrician.
• Prior Product Management experience within the electrical industry.
• Experience with DIN modular products, switchgear, circuit protection, or power distribution products is preferred.
• Knowledge of AS/NZS standards relating to low-voltage electrical installations.
• Experience with CRM, ERP, and forecasting systems.
• Strong commercial awareness with experience managing product pricing, inventory, and supplier relationships.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Own and grow IPD’s DIN Modular and Smissline portfolio, including strategy, lifecycle, pricing, inventory, forecasting and new product introductions.
• Develop and implement annual business and marketing plans through market analysis and growth opportunities.
• Manage supplier relationships and resolve product, quality and performance issues.
• Act as the technical product expert by providing application support and training to customers, suppliers and internal teams.
• Develop and execute a 3–5 year growth strategy for the Final Distribution portfolio by identifying market gaps and bringing innovative solutions to market.
