Job summary

Canva is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the Embedded team, a senior-heavy group tackling production challenges such as reliability, observability and safe software changes. You will influence across teams, coach engineers, shape engagement models and help define success metrics while building an environment where experienced engineers can maximise their impact.

You’ll work closely with leadership to scale the model, grow technical leaders, and ensure delivery across multiple engagements

Qualifications

• Led senior engineers and senior tech leads through complex or ambiguous work, coaching people with autonomy.
• Experience in production environments emphasizing reliability, scalability and production risk.
• Built trust and influenced outcomes without direct reporting lines.
