Job summary

Canva is seeking an Engineering Manager for Embedded to lead a senior-heavy team tackling critical production challenges. You will influence multiple teams, guide technical decisions and shape how engagements are run, measured, and scaled.

Build an environment where experienced engineers grow in influence and capability across Canva's reliability platforms. You'll work to safeguard data, improve safety of software changes, and drive tooling and frameworks to increase resilience and observability

• Led senior software engineers and technical leads through complex, ambiguous work.
• Experience in production environments prioritising reliability and scalability.
• Built trust quickly in environments where influence matters more than reporting lines.
• Led technical initiatives spanning multiple teams or groups.
• Persuaded teams to adopt new practices without disrupting delivery.
