Job summary

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of the relevant curriculum and ability to incorporate literacy and numeracy skills.
• Experience planning for high impact teaching strategies and evaluating impact of learning and teaching programs.
• Ability to monitor and assess student learning and use data to inform practice and communicate progress to students and parents.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with students, parents and colleagues.
• Commitment to professional learning and reflective practice to improve teaching quality.

Responsibilities

• Direct teaching of classes and groups of students.
• Contribute to curriculum planning and implementation across the school.
• Use student data to inform teaching and target improvements in learning outcomes.
• Engage with parents and the school community to support student wellbeing and achievement.
• Undertake additional duties as required consistent with position and experience.
