Job summary

Axis Communications AB seeks a Sales Engineer in Sydney to bridge technical expertise with the sales cycle. You’ll split time between Axis Academy training and presales technical support, delivering engaging training and crafting tailored solutions for partners.

You will work with the Oceania team and collaborate with Sales, Marketing and Engineering to drive customer success and growth in Axis video and audio solutions.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualifications in Information Technology, Engineering, Information Systems or a similar field.
• Experience in a customer facing presales role within the network video or physical security industry is preferred.
• Experience delivering interactive technical training and adapting sessions to different knowledge levels.
• Good knowledge of networking, IP technologies and applications is desirable.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills; ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with partners and customers.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Axis Academy classes and customised training tailored to our partners’ needs.
• Support partners and customers throughout the sales process with technical advice, solution designs and product demonstrations.
• Prepare clear technical proposals, solution documentation and presales materials.
• Identify new business opportunities through partner discussions and an understanding of customer needs.
• Work with system integrators and technology partners to design solutions that meet project requirements.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing and the wider Sales Engineering team to achieve the best outcomes for our partners and customers.
• Keep partners informed about Axis products, solutions and technical developments.
• Represent Axis at industry trade shows and events as required.
