SunDoctors Skin Cancer Clinics are seeking two casual Practice Nurses to join our pool and support multiple NSW clinics, including Ryde, Frenchs Forest, Hornsby and Parramatta, with Windsor possible depending on location and availability. This flexible casual role has no set shifts and provides coverage during staff leave, sickness, and busy periods, offering variety and a supportive healthcare team.

You will assist doctors, care for patients, and contribute to a high standard of infection

Qualifications

• Registration with AHPRA is essential.
• Minimum 1 year nursing experience (GP or skin cancer preferred).
• Experience with Best Practice software is a plus but not essential.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Patient-focused, warm, professional and customer-service oriented approach.
• Good computer skills and comfort with multiple systems.

Responsabilités

• Provide warm, welcoming, and professional care to patients.
• Assist doctors with skin cancer procedures and excisions.
• Perform wound care and suture removal.
• Maintain infection control and sterilisation standards.
• Educate patients on wound care and skin health.
• Prepare treatment rooms and keep clinics well stocked.
• Support patient flow and day-to-day clinic operations.

About the Role

We are looking for two friendly and proactive Casual Practice Nurses to join our casual pool and provide support across our clinics in Ryde, Frenchs Forest, Hornsby and Parramatta, with the possibility of Windsor depending on your location and availability.

This is a flexible casual opportunity with no set shifts, providing coverage during staff leave, sickness and busy periods. It’s a great option for nurses looking for flexibility and variety in their working week while still being part of a supportive healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide warm, welcoming, and professional care to our patients

What We’re Looking For:

• Current AHPRA Registration
• Minimum 1 year nursing experience (GP or skin cancer experience highly regarded)
• Experience with Best Practice software (preferred but not essential)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Patient focused with a warm, professional and customer service oriented approach
• Sound computer skills and confidence using multiple systems
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
