Job summary

Intelligent Ageing in Neutral Bay, NSW, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with a passion for skin. The role combines general practice nursing with skin health and aesthetic treatments, offering variety and opportunity to advance skills.

You will provide wound care, assist with skin checks and laser therapies, manage immunisations, and maintain accurate records. AHPRA registration is required, with 2–5 years post-registration experience.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• 2–5 years of post-registration experience in a hospital, general practice or other medical setting.
• Genuine interest in skin health and aesthetic treatments.
• Experience with laser, peels or skin treatments highly regarded; training available for the right person.
• Immunisation accreditation or willingness to obtain it.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, patient-centred approach to care.
• Confidence with medical software and technology.
• Ability to work well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Providing wound care, dressings, suture removal and post-treatment aftercare.
• Assisting doctors with skin checks, biopsies and excisions, including setting up and maintaining sterile fields.
• Administering immunisations and vaccinations, and keeping AIR records up to date.
• Coordinating patient assessments, health assessments and care plans.
• Performing ECGs, spirometry and other clinical tests.
• Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation.
• Assisting with skin consultations and helping patients plan their treatment.
• Performing and assisting with laser therapies, skin peels, HydraFacials and other advanced skincare treatments.

You'll play a vital role in providing high-quality, compassionate care, helping patients maintain their physical and mental health and general wellbeing. This varied role combines general practice nursing with skin health and aesthetic treatments.

Key responsibilities

Providing wound care, dressings, suture removal and post-treatment aftercare

Assisting doctors with skin checks, biopsies and excisions, including setting up and maintaining a sterile fields
