As Practice Manager, you will play a crucial role in the efficient day-to-day operations of our general practice clinic. You will be responsible for ensuring smooth clinical and administrative workflows, managing staff, maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations, and enhancing the patient experience. Key responsibilities

About you

• Proven experience as a practice manager or in a similar healthcare management role within a general practice or medical clinic setting
• Strong knowledge of general practice operations, healthcare compliance and relevant legislation including privacy requirements
• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Demonstrated leadership and people management experience with the ability to motivate and develop a team
• Proficiency with practice management software and electronic health record systems
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with patients, staff and healthcare practitioners
• Sound financial management skills including budgeting and financial reporting experience
• High level of professionalism, discretion and commitment to patient confidentiality
• Current knowledge of Medicare and healthcare billing practices is advantageous
• Certification in practice management or healthcare administration is preferred
