Job summary

Next Practice Norwood is seeking a Practice Manager with a proven track record of leading high-performing patient-centered teams to run our Norwood clinic. You will oversee clinic operations, administration, and staff management while partnering with the Clinical Director to deliver excellent patient care and efficient workflows.

You will drive engagement, coordinate care, manage budgets and accreditation processes, and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.

• Strong organisational and commercial acumen with focus on targets and budgets.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Practice Manager with a proven track record of managing high performing teams of customer-focused individuals, to lead our practice operations and take our clinic to the next level.

About the role

As Practice Manager you will ensure seamless clinic workflows, excellent patient care and productive business operations. Working together with the Clinical Director you will ensure provision of exceptional support services to our practitioners and patients. You will contribute to the organisation’s success by providing administrative management, staff management and marketing assistance while ensuring the highest standards of operation are met at all times.

Key responsibilities

Lead, supervise, mentor and develop a high performing practice team.

Oversee patient access, care coordination and offer empathetic solutions to patient concerns to improve patient care, experience and feedback.

Drive employee engagement and culture within the clinic.

Staff management,including recruitment, rostering, supervision, and training to ensure efficient front desk area.

Provide direction and advice on all administrative matters within the clinic and resolving all non-clinical complaints.

Management, reporting and reconciliation of business budgets and accounts.

Ensure the clinic achieves and maintains Accreditation, comply with quality and safety standards and other legislative requirements.

Oversee management of the facility, equipment maintenance and inventories.

About you

Proven leadership and management experience in a similar role within a healthcare setting.

Demonstrated experience in effective people management including coaching, mentoring, performance management and recruitment.

Clear and confident communicator with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, manage and lead a team with clarity, kindness and accountability.

Sound business and commercial acumen with experience in working to set targets, KPI's and rostering.

Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks, manage multiple responsibilities and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Demonstrated strategic foresight by identifying risks early and driving proactive, preventative solutions.
