Job summary

The Victorian Department of Health is seeking a Senior Project Officer to support the End of Contract Term PPP project, coordinating governance, asset information, and handover documentation. You will work with internal experts, advisers and the PPP operator to ensure compliant, timely completion.

Responsibilities include drafting Cabinet and briefing material, reviewing specialist input, and supporting planning for future hospital service delivery post-PPP expiry.

Qualifications

• Experience scoping procurement and managing external advisors (legal, engineering, compliance).
• Ability to obtain asset information from the PPP operator in detailed formats.
• Strong collaboration with subject matter experts and health service partners.

Responsibilities

• Assist in scoping, procurement and management of external specialist advisors.
• Coordinate asset information with ProjectCo in required detail.
• Collaborate with internal experts and the clinical operator as needed.
• Draft Cabinet material, ministerial and secretary briefings and reports.
• Review advisor input to ensure deliverables meet Department needs.
