The Victorian Department of Health is seeking a Senior Project Officer to support the End of Contract Term PPP project, coordinating governance, asset information, and handover documentation. You will work with internal experts, advisers and the PPP operator to ensure compliant, timely completion.
Responsibilities include drafting Cabinet and briefing material, reviewing specialist input, and supporting planning for future hospital service delivery post-PPP expiry.
The Senior Project Officer, Infrastructure Integration and Oversight will support the Specialist Infrastructure Advisor in the Public Private Partnership (PPP) End of Contract Term project. PPPs are a method of procuring and building health infrastructure utilising the expertise of the private sector to fund, design, build and manage the facility. There are currently 8 PPP projects in the operating phase (typically 25 years) with a 9th PPP in the delivery (construction) phase. The first two PPPs are nearing the end of the operating term. The End of Contract Term project will undertake all activities required to ensure that the operating phase is closed out in accordance with the Project Agreement and the assets handed back to the State in the condition expected. The project will also undertake planning for the future service delivery for the hospital after expiry of the PPP. Working closely with the Specialist Infrastructure Advisor and Project Officer the Senior project officer will coordinate governance processes, assist in validating delivery of contractual obligations, including handover documentation reviews, quality assurance and data analysis to ensure contracted handover and completion services are delivered to the required standards.
