Job summary

ORS Group is expanding its Positive Behaviour Support division and seeking a clinician to join a national team of PBS practitioners. You will support NDIS participants aged 0-65 across early intervention to adult services, focusing on reducing restrictive practices and increasing independence.

You will work with clients over months or years, collaborating with families and allied health professionals to achieve growth and goals, with attention to work life balance and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Qualifications in Psychology, Counselling, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology or related fields.
• NDIS Registration as a Behaviour Practitioner (or ability to obtain one).
• Experience working with Autism Spectrum Disorder and Intellectual Disability (desirable).
• A car and licence.
• National Police Clearance and Working With Children/Vulnerable People checks or ability to obtain them before commencing.

Responsibilities

• Assess and observe participants' challenging behaviours to increase skills and emotion regulation.
• Develop PBS plans and implement with training and follow-up.
• Collaborate with allied health practitioners, support workers and families to achieve client outcomes.
