Job summary

Maranoa Regional Council in Roma, Queensland, is seeking hands-on Utilities professionals to maintain water, sewerage and gas services across the region. Based in Roma, you will join the Utilities team, perform maintenance, construction, and compliance work, and support neighbouring towns when required.

The role offers a 9-day fortnight, five weeks annual leave, and opportunities for salary sacrifice and lifestyle benefits.

Responsibilities

• Water, Sewer & Gas Infrastructure: help construct, maintain and repair Council's utilities network.
• Compliance & Customer Service: support regulatory responsibilities and customer interactions.
• Plant & Equipment Operations: operate and maintain a range of council plant and equipment.
• Collaborate across sites to support routine maintenance and region-wide projects.

About the Role

As part of our Utilities team, you'll play a vitalrole in delivering and maintaining essential water, sewerage and gas servicesthat support our communities every day.

Based in Roma(onlyfive and a half hours west of Brisbane), you'll work across a diverse range ofmaintenance, construction and compliance activities while occasionallyproviding support to other towns throughout the Maranoa region.

This is a hands-on role offering variety,responsibility and the opportunity to further develop your skills whilecontributing to critical community infrastructure.

You’ll also support Council's regulatoryresponsibilities.
