Job summary

Stripe is seeking an Account Executive for the Platforms team in Sydney to grow existing business and drive payments adoption across enterprise software platforms. You will manage a named account list, build strategic relationships with senior leaders, and collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Finance to run product workshops and financial analyses.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of sales experience, preferably selling a technical product.
• Experience selling a technology product or API-first company.
• Proven track record advancing opportunities through complex, multi-party, consultative sales processes.
• Ability to explain Stripe solutions to technical and non-technical buyers.
• Experience leading negotiations with executive-level stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a named account list; develop plans to win and expand with upper mid-market and enterprise clients.
• Build and maintain relationships with C-level executives and coordinate executive touchpoints.
• Contribute to Stripe’s platform partnership strategy and scalable engagement models.
• Develop outbound strategies to create and nurture opportunities.
• Own the full sales cycle from lead to close for enterprise accounts.
• Develop relationships with executive stakeholders at clients.
• Partner with Engineering, Product, and Finance to run product workshops and financial analyses.
• Lead and contribute to team projects to refine the sales process.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to inform product strategy.
