Job summary

Stripe in Sydney is seeking an experienced Commercial Sales professional to identify mid-market opportunities and drive full-stack Stripe implementations. You will lead outbound efforts, tailor solutions across Stripe products, and manage the end-to-end sales cycle from initial business case to close.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in solution sales, strong pricing negotiation skills, and a passion for technology. This full-time role is based at 383 Kent Street, Sydney, NSW, 2000, Australia.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in solution sales field, preferably in the AUNZ region.
• Ability to understand technical requirements and craft solutions across multiple technology products.
• Ability to perform quantitative analysis and independently manage pricing negotiations.
• Strong problem-solving and quantitative capabilities including comfort with basic financial modelling.
• Ability to operate in a highly ambiguous and fast-paced environment.
• Superior verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interest in technology.

Responsibilities

• Identify high-potential, mid-market businesses for a full-stack Stripe implementation.
• Develop and execute an outbound play to target a new vertical and implement sales strategies to grow revenue per user.
• Identify and understand users’ pain points to propose Stripe solutions and own the full sales cycle, from business case development to close.
• Drive commercial discussions and close complex, high-impact deals.
• Partner with Solutions Architects, Integration Engineers and Channel Partners to resolve user pain points and deepen Stripe integration.
• Share feedback with Product and Marketing teams to help inform roadmap and messaging priorities.
