Job summary

COMO Engineers Pty Ltd is seeking a Commercial Manager based in Perth to lead commercial management across operations and projects. You will oversee contracts, procurement, and project financial performance, ensuring contractual obligations and opportunities are managed effectively.

The role reports to the Managing Director and involves governance, risk, and stakeholder engagement across clients, subcontractors and suppliers, with a focus on delivering commercial outcomes and growth.

Qualifications

• Experience negotiating and administering complex contracts.
• Strong knowledge of project cost control and cash flow.
• Ability to manage contractual risk and resolve disputes.
• Proven tendering and pricing review involvement.
• Sound judgement with ability to prioritise under pressure.
• Excellent negotiation and stakeholder communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop commercial strategy and governance frameworks to support growth.
• Review, negotiate, and administer contracts and subcontracts.
• Provide tender and bid support including pricing assumptions.
• Monitor project financial performance, budgets, and margins.
• Oversee progress claims, variations, and project close-out.
• Lead risk and dispute management with proactive stakeholder engagement.
• Coach commercial personnel and strengthen controls.
• Collaborate with executives and project leaders to optimize outcomes.
