Civmec, an Australian-owned heavy engineering and construction services provider, seeks a Commercial Manager for an upcoming project. You will lead the commercial function from the project team, driving outcomes through pragmatic risk management, contract administration and proactive client engagement.

The role offers FIFO from Perth or local base at Henderson, WA, with scope to shape a high-performing commercial culture and governance framework across the project lifecycle.

Qualifikationen

• A tertiary qualification in law, quantity surveying, engineering, construction management or a related discipline.
• Senior commercial leadership experience on major construction, resources, infrastructure or heavy engineering projects.
• At least 10 years' experience delivering major projects with commercial leadership on mega-projects exceeding AUD 200M.
• Proven experience leading, developing and managing commercial teams of more than five people.
• Strong written and verbal communication to influence stakeholders and support project decisions.

Aufgaben

• Provide strong commercial leadership across all project commercial and contractual functions.
• Lead head contract administration, notices, claims and entitlement submissions.
• Drive variations, extensions of time and remeasurement strategies.
• Manage supplier and subcontractor procurement and commercial administration.
• Provide contractual guidance to the project team for informed decisions.
• Manage cashflow, progress claims, and client payment cycles.
• Oversee cost control, forecasts and commercial reporting.
• Establish governance to identify, track and recover commercial actions throughout the lifecycle.
• Lead, mentor and develop the project commercial team to a high-performance standard.
