Job summary

Civmec is expanding its Commercial team to lead the commercial function on upcoming projects, with FIFO from Perth or local base in Henderson, WA. The role focuses on strong commercial leadership, contract administration, risk management and a proactive approach to client engagement on major construction, resources and infrastructure projects.

You will guide procurement and commercial decision-making, support project delivery and drive robust governance, ensuring entitlements and variations

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level/masters-level professional with senior commercial leadership experience on major projects.
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive commercial outcomes.
• Strong written and verbal communication with risk and contract management expertise.

Responsibilities

• Provide strong commercial leadership across all contractual functions.
• Lead head contract administration, notices, claims and entitlement submissions.
• Drive commercial strategy, variations, EOTs and remeasurement claims.
• Manage procurement, supplier and subcontractor commercial administration.
• Oversee cashflow, progress claims and client payment cycles.
• Establish governance processes for variations, risks and commercial actions.
• Mentor and develop the project commercial team.
