Civmec Construction & Engineering, an Australian-owned heavy engineering and construction services provider, seeks an experienced Commercial Manager to lead the commercial function on a major project. You will drive commercial strategy, manage contracts and procurement, and oversee cashflow and reporting.

FIFO from Perth or be based in Henderson, WA. You will lead a high-performing commercial team, manage risk, engage clients and suppliers, and ensure governance and compliance across the project

Formación

• Senior commercial leadership experience on major construction, resources or infrastructure projects.
• Proven ability to manage commercial risk and provide strategic guidance to project teams.
• Experience leading and developing commercial teams of multiple people.
• Strong written and verbal communication to influence stakeholders and decisions.

Responsabilidades

• Lead head contract administration and compliance, including notices, claims and entitlement submissions.
• Drive commercial strategy, variations, EOTs and remeasurement claims to maximise outcomes.
• Manage procurement, engagement and commercial administration for suppliers and subcontractors.
• Provide practical contractual guidance to project teams to support informed decisions and compliance.
• Oversee cashflow, progress claims and reporting for predictable commercial performance.
• Establish governance and systems to track and recover commercial actions across the lifecycle.
• Mentor and develop the project commercial team to a high-performance standard.
