Job summary

Perth Airport is seeking a Senior Commercial Manager to lead commercial and contract management across a major infrastructure program. You will work within the Planning and Projects portfolio, guiding procurement, contract strategy and governance to optimise value for money.

You will negotiate complex contracts, manage risk and drive continuous improvement, while collaborating with project teams and suppliers to deliver outcomes that support Western Australia’s growth.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in senior commercial and contract management roles within infrastructure or major projects.
• Strong knowledge of contract management, procurement methodologies and contracting models.
• Experience negotiating and delivering commercial outcomes while balancing risk and value.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the commercial management function, fostering a high-performing, collaborative team culture.
• Drive development and implementation of commercial and contract management frameworks, processes and systems.
• Provide strategic commercial leadership across major infrastructure and capital projects from procurement through to close-out.
• Develop contracting and procurement strategies that balance risk, value for money and program delivery.
• Lead complex contract negotiations and provide guidance on claims, disputes and commercial matters.
• Monitor contract performance, commercial viability and risk exposure, implementing mitigation strategies.
