Job summary

BlueCare in Maryborough is seeking a Personal Carer to provide compassionate, in-home care to clients in community settings.

You will visit clients, assist with daily living activities, and follow individual care plans to enhance independence and quality of life. This casual role offers varied day-to-day work, travel between visits, and opportunities to make meaningful connections.

Qualifications

• Certificate III Aged Care or equivalent required.
• Current Australian Driver's Licence required.
• Roadworthy & insured vehicle to use for work required.
• Experience with technology (smartphones, tablets, laptops) preferred.
• Probity checks required by legislation or policies.

Responsibilities

• Spend time on the road completing scheduled visits, interacting one-on-one with clients at their homes.
• Provide in-home personal care including showering, hygiene, meals, cleaning, laundry and ironing.
• Act according to individual Care Plans.
• Support clients with community activities and appointments.

About The Role

As a Personal Carer you'll provide care to your clients living in the community, supporting their independence and improving their quality of life.

• Spending your time on the road completing scheduled visits, interacting one-on-one with clients within their homes supporting with daily activities
• In home personal care, daily living assistance including showering, personal hygiene, meal preparation, house cleaning, laundry and ironing
• Providing care in accordance with their individualised Care Plan
• Supporting with community based recreational and social activities
• Transportation and assistance with shopping and appointments.

Role Requirements

• Certificate III Aged Care, Individual Support or an equivalent qualification - Essential
• Current Australian Driver's Licence (Green Provisional minimum) - Essential
• Roadworthy & insured (Third Party Property minimum) vehicle to use for work- Essential
• Experience with technology incl. smartphones, tablets, laptops etc
• Confidence to satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies
