Job summary

National Heavy Vehicle Regulator in Brisbane seeks an Access Facilitator to support the permit application process, providing guidance on heavy vehicles, infrastructure and regulatory requirements to enable efficient case management.

You will review application processes, contribute to demand management strategies, and build strong relationships with industry, customers and government partners while delivering accurate information and managing risks.

• Review and progress application processes across vehicle classes and combinations.
• Assist with demand management strategies to deliver cost-effective service.
• Build and maintain relationships with industry representatives, customers and government partners.
• Contribute to advice to the Access Leadership Team to enhance nationwide vehicle access.
• Negotiate with stakeholders and handle customer complaints professionally.
• Provide advice on the permit process, vehicle standards and regulatory requirements.
• Deliver accurate information to stakeholders and identify risks.
