National Heavy Vehicle Regulator in Parramatta, NSW, seeks a senior legal professional with 7+ years of experience across commercial, property and technology law. The role offers flexibility with hybrid work and can be based in Adelaide, Brisbane, or Parramatta.

You will advise on contracts, leases and IP, lead negotiations with diverse parties, and help shape NHVR’s legal strategies while managing risk and ensuring governance standards.

Formación

• 7+ years of experience as a legal practitioner in commercial/regulatory law.
• Admission to practice law in the High Court or a State/Territory Supreme Court.
• Experience in commercial law, contract negotiations and software contracts.
• Ability to manage legal risk strategically.
• Strong communication and client service skills.

Responsabilidades

• Advise on contracts, leases, intellectual property, procurement, compliance and insurance matters.
• Lead or support negotiations with suppliers, government bodies and other parties.
• Provide legal advice relating to commercial contracts, MOUs, leases, licences, IP protection, privacy and data protection, risk management and insurance.
• Help shape NHVR’s legal strategies and policies.
• Promote legal risk management aligned with NHVR governance standards.
