Transport for NSW is seeking a Restricted Vehicle Access Officer in Parramatta to process permits, notices and enquiries for Class 1-3 vehicles in line with legislative and policy requirements to ensure safe, efficient network operations. Applications are expected to be fair, consistent and transparent, with a focus on public safety.

You will provide specialist advice to operations management, industry stakeholders, police, and the public regarding access requirements and mass/dimension limits,

Competenze

• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement experience.
• Ability to interpret legislation and apply technical criteria.
• Experience assessing complex applications or permits in regulatory environments.

Mansioni

• Process and assess permits, notices and enquiries for Class 1, 2, and 3 vehicles in line with legislative and policy requirements.
• Deliver specialist advice to operations management, industry stakeholders, police, third parties, and the public regarding mass and dimension limits and road access requirements.
• Use technical expertise and sound judgment to deliver timely and consistent access decisions that support freight productivity while protecting public safety and road infrastructure.
