Job summary

Pickering's Auto Group in Townsville region seeks a Payroll Officer all-rounder to join the admin team, reporting to the Financial Controller. The role supports payroll and financial processes while contributing to a busy dealership environment that values staff satisfaction and best practice.

The successful candidate will handle fortnightly payroll, timekeeping accuracy, and collaborate with HR and finance to meet deadlines in a dynamic automotive group.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years’ experience in payroll administration.
• Experience within payroll administration and financial processes.
• Familiar with human resource functions.
• Understanding of industrial instruments.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Team player with a flexible 'can do' attitude.
• Valid driving licence.

Responsibilities

SKILLS AND LICENCES REQUIRED:

• Minimum of Three Years’ Experience Desirable
• Experience working within Payroll Administration and financial processes
• Familiar with Human Resource Functions
• Understanding of Industrial Instruments
• Experienced in Microsoft Excel
• Team player
• A flexible and ‘Can Do Attitude'
• Current Drivers Licence.
